- Sliders: 12 soft slider buns or Hawaiian rolls, 12 slices deli ham (about 250 g), 6 slices Swiss cheese (about 120 g) halved
- Topping: 75 g (5 tbsp) unsalted butter melted, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp poppy seeds, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley (optional), salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) Lightly grease a 23x33 cm (9x13 inch) baking dish
- Step 2:
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish
- Step 3:
- Layer each bun bottom with a slice of ham and a piece of cheese then cover with the bun tops
- Step 4:
- In a small bowl whisk together the melted butter Dijon mustard poppy seeds Worcestershire sauce onion powder garlic powder parsley (if using) salt and pepper
- Step 5:
- Brush the tops of the buns generously with the butter mixture making sure to coat each one
- Step 6:
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes
- Step 7:
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops are golden and cheese is melted
- Step 8:
- Let cool slightly then separate and serve warm
